JOB TITLE: LPN Supervisor- required LPN License in PA
Summary: We are looking for a reliable LPN to assist in care for our residents and oversee our facility from 3-11pm and 11pm-7am in a professional and considerate manner. You will work under the supervision of our Director of Nursing and Administrator. The LPN must be first and foremost qualified and compassionate. You must be experienced in providing diverse basic care to those who need it while remaining patient and calm. This is a Personal Care Facility.

Responsibilities
- Providing direct nursing care to residents in the facility
- Professional contact and communication with partnering doctor’s, emergency services, etc.
- Strong communication skills when contacting agencies for staffing needs
- Accurate documentation regarding residents conditions, medications, treatments, and other mandated records
- Precise completion of admission process to include assessments, interim care plans, and timely documentation as per admission process
- Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by Aides and Med-Techs
- Interact and communicate with family members of our residents in a patient and professional manner
- Administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Observe residents under treatments to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
- Assist ailing residents in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.
- Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
- Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
Requirements and Skills
- Proven experience as LPN with Valid PA Nursing License
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with Personal Care Facility requirements, safety and sanitation standards and operation procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
- Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
- Strong Physical condition and stamina
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- Regular updating of Staff Education and Trainings needed within the facility
Education and Experience
- Successful completion of LPN License program
- Graduate of approved LPN Nursing School (Must provide License)
- Valid and Current LPN License Issued through the State of Pennsylvania
- Minimum of 3 Years’ Experience
- CPR/First Aid Certification
