The Nurse Supervisor is a licensed nurse who has 24-hour, 7day/week responsibility for the management and delivery of quality patient care for a specified department.

The Nurse Supervisor shows evidence of knowledge of nursing theory, principles and procedures, and demonstrates skill, good judgment, and good decision-making in applying these principles in the clinical setting. Responsible for the planning delivery and evaluation of nursing care that is appropriate to patient age. The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for linking nursing practice and quality improvement with nursing performance.

Current California RN or LVN license
