Nature Soy is a major soy product manufacturer located in Philadelphia. Since 1989, Nature’s Soy has been bringing naturally delicious soy products to American tables. With a passion for soy and simple, real food, we offer a wide variety of fresh, high quality soy and vegetarian products for all types of diets.

We are looking for a Machine Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and food safe environment of the manufacturing facility, surrounding area and equipment.

Paid training shifts are 7pm - 3:30am and after 1 - 2 months of training your shift will be 9pm - 5:30am. Working days are on Mondays to Fridays, OR, Tuesdays to Saturdays.

Major Responsibilities:

• Wash, clean and sanitize food manufacturing equipment and facility
• Implements all GMP and HACCP procedures that relate to cleanliness, food safety, and pest control with the facility.
• Responsible for filling out daily sanitation logs, performance reports and shift paperwork.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years related work experience required.
• A working knowledge of food technology, food science, microbiology or chemistry required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-directed with the ability to work independently as well as with groups.
• Read and understand GMP, HACCP along with FDA and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to train, maintain and promote a safe work environment.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary, shift hours may change with advance notice

Physical Demands and Duration:

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Standing majority of shift
• Noise typical of a production environment, Entire shift
• Working in hot/cold temperatures, Entire shift

Education:
