Job description

The Machine Operator East Bernard TX position will be responsible for working in a welding shop environment. A variety of CNC controlled, and custom equipment is used in a production line operation.

Machinist Job Duties

• Responsible for daily production output
• Utilizes shop work orders to fill job requirements
• Loads and unloads material as needed
• Practices material identification Standard Operation Procedures
• Assist in maintaining housekeeping standards
• Operate in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment
• May be required to fill in as needed in other departments
• Move product throughout the department
• Utilizes various measuring tools

Machinist Requirements

• Authorized to work in the USA
• Read and write English – highly preferred but not required
• Ability to operator overhead crane and forklifts
• Ability to do basic math
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• Standing and walking frequently
• Lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment
• Pass background check, (no convictions in past 3 years), NO VIOLENT OFFENSES EVER

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
