We are currently looking for a Machine Operator I to join our team in Bruce , MS.
As a Machine Operator I, you will:
Perform and have primary responsibility for machine operations in multiple work centers as required, including, but not limited to, setting up, adjusting, and operating various machines/equipment, including woodworking and sewing machines, welding and spray equipment, to produce quality (as defined by Haworth quality standards) parts per blueprints, product orders, and engineering specifications, within tolerance. Perform necessary quality checks, practices machine preventive maintenance, and performs general utility work to meet work schedule. Do you have these required qualifications?
8th grade education.
2 years manufacturing experience.
Flexing work schedule and overtime may be required including weekends and/or holidays per business
Requires ability to lift/move product weighing up to 60 pounds with assistance.
Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Ability to work in Bruce, MS without relocation assistance. Do you have these preferred qualifications?
1-year related machine operation experience preferred.
Welding experience.
Haworth experience preferred.
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and utilize precision measuring instruments.
Familiarity with welding processes preferred.
PC and keyboard/mouse skills required.
May be required to obtain and maintain valid hi-lo license.
