Position: Machine Operator - Night Shift

Hourly Rate: $22

Potential Yearly Earnings: 57K - 63K

Reports to: Night Shift Supervisor

Department: Production

Shift: Night Shift (Full-Time)

Schedule: 5:00 pm – 5:00 am (Monday- Friday)

Liberty Tire Recycling is the premier provider of tire recycling services in the United States. Our Salt Lake City, Utah facility is looking for Machine Operators to join our team! Our machine operators are making 65k to 70K during their first year!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Successfully operate the mulch line bagging equipment while complying with all safety standards, regulations and operating procedures
• Successfully operate the mulch line bagging equipment following company standards and settings while maximizing production and minimizing downtime
• Successfully execute machine set-ups, start-ups, changeovers, steady state operations and preventative maintenance (PM’s)
• Conduct validation testing to ensure all finished products comply with company packaging and quality control standards and guidelines

• Monitor and examine equipment to ensure a safe and efficient operation
• Troubleshoot equipment stops, breakdowns, and downtime root causes
• Notify shift supervisor of any equipment or quality issues or problems
• Accurately enter, document and maintain all production paperwork and KPI metrics including daily and hourly production rates, downtime root causes, and the associated downtime minutes
• Perform all required equipment cleaning and maintain a clean, safe working environment
• Participate in training, retraining and continual improvement processes and methods
• Follow and comply with all company safety standards, work rules, and regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned
