Job Description:
Gear FX Driveline INC (TCS), a division of Holley Inc. is looking for an experienced Machinist/ Axle builder to join our dynamic team. This position will be located in the Mooresville, NC area. Job responsibilities include operating and maintaining Lathes and Milling machines.
Essential Job Functions:

• Work activity includes incoming and in-process inspections of productive parts and assemblies, layout inspections, quality audits, gage inspections and calibrations.
• Must be proficient using hand measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gages, etc.).
• Work from operational sketches and blueprints to determine size and form. Use a variety of mechanical and electronic precision measuring instruments to check size during and after operation.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills, including the ability to gather and organize relevant information, and identify underlying issues or problems, trends, and cause-effect relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal skills that fosters teamwork and collaboration and develops high quality working relationships in order to influence, gain support, and achieve results.
• Highly productive with a strong sense of urgency and orientation to details, accuracy, and excellent outcomes. Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and an advocate for change. Exposure to lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, including the ability to be self-directed and self-motivated. Demonstrated professionalism, passion, and initiative with projects and tasks.
