Action Property Management, a premier management company, is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Engineer for One Steuart Lane located in San Francisco.

Schedule: Days off: Friday/Saturday or Sunday/Monday

Compensation: $30-$35 per hour (DOE) + Comprehensive Benefits Package

Job Summary

The Maintenance Engineer, under the direction and supervision of the Chief Building Engineer, is responsible for maintaining, correcting deficiencies, and/or making repairs to all "common areas" within the Association as described below. Continuous hands on training will always be provided.

Physical Duties:

• Patch and paint the common areas of the building.
• Wallpaper repair in the common areas of the building.
• Responsible for general cleaning of the engineering spaces.
• Clean and paint non-operating mechanical equipment, which has been shut down, locked out and tagged by Supervisor.
• Provide light electrical duties: Changing light bulbs.
• Willingness to learn to become a full time Building Engineer

Emergency Response:

• Maintain preparedness for emergency response to flood, fire, power outage, earthquake and other disaster.
• Respond to project emergencies.

Teamwork & Customer Service:

• Be a team player and to contribute to the creation of an enjoyable, productive and safe work environment.
• Be prepared to assist team members with tasks not strictly related to this job description.
• Maintain customer service standards as set by the Hospitality Department and General Manager.
• Display high morale, integrity, loyalty and professionalism at all times.
• Be available for overtime in special circumstances in order to complete projects or meet deadlines

Requirements

• Must be over 18 years of age and successfully pass a pre-employment 7 year criminal history report and drug screening
• Polished and professional appearance and demeanor
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiar with MS Office applications

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 year of Maintenance Technician experience. High Rise Property Management or Hospitality experience is strongly preferred.
• High Rise mechanical, electrical proficiency, plumbing, HVAC experience desired
• Fire Life Safety Certification is a plus
• EPA/608 Universal License preferred
• HVAC Certification preferred
