Looking for a 3rd shift Maintenance Mechanic. 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week in a climate-controlled environment located just off RT. 795 and Tracy Road minutes away from Toledo. Pay goes up to $30+ an hour based on your skill level and maintenance experience in a climate controlled production facility.Openings on 3rd shift (10:30pm – 6:30am) Sun-Fri with a $1.00/ hour shift premium

You must be familiar with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems maintenance as well as gearbox, shaft, bearing, and vacuum system maintenance. This includes troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairing in a manufacturing environment with long term results in mind in addition to the immediate needs of production. This position will require work schedule flexibility and occasional overtime.
WHAT DOES MY WORKDAY LOOK LIKE IN THIS ROLE?
- Troubleshoot, repair, and fabricate machinery in a timely, safe, efficient, and accurate manner while keeping the impact on production as minimal as possible.
- Preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Perform accurate fitting and aligning as required using precision measuring instruments.
- Expedite repairs for unscheduled maintenance jobs in an efficient and timely manner.
- Maintain machines and support equipment for all departments.
- Read electrical and mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
- Find and order parts when needed.
- Contribute to general housekeeping, upkeep, and organization of the department.
- Perform general maintenance of the building and office (plumbing, electrical, installation of technology, etc.)
- Demonstrate sound safety practices and standards in an ergonomically correct manner.
- Work with envelope converting machine.
- Maintain documentation on all equipment.
- Visually inspect and listen to the machines and equipment to locate the malfunctions.
- Realign and adjust components such as spindles and clutches.
- Prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, vacuum, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with gearboxes, shafts, bearings, and pulleys.
- Mechanical troubleshooting of production equipment.
- Ability to walk and stand frequently during an eight-hour shift.
- Ability to move up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent math and measuring skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Good communicator who can work both independently and with a team.
- Attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn.
- Prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
