About the Role:

This position reports to the Production Maintenance Manager or Supervisor and is responsible for setting up and maintaining all maintenance, and modifications needed to maintain the Suncoast Chemicals Company's equipment and support systems. Responsible for training associates on proper operation of each line and equipment as needed. Needs to be able to remove and install machines and equipment as needed by production.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up equipment for the next day's run and maintain PM's as required
  • Removal and installation of machines and equipment as needed
  • Write work orders on equipment needing repair or maintenance
  • Work with department leaders to schedule and complete work
  • Train production associated on proper equipment set up and operation
  • Troubleshoot machines and keep lines running efficiently
  • FIT tested and wear a respiratory as needed and use personal protective equipment in conjunction with the company's guidelines.
  • Work Monday-Thursday 5:00am-3:00pm. Changes might occur depending on the season.

Candidate Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in production maintenance
  • Ability to work overtime, hours and shifts are modifies depending on production needs.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members and management
  • Lift up to 50 Ibs.
