Job description
1-2 years experience in maintaining complex automated systems in an industrial manufacturing environment. Knowledge of automation control systems including PLC’s and computer control interface systems. Must be proficient in at least (2) two maintenance skill classifications such as welding and fitting, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, electrical controls, computer or network information systems, inventory control systems, fire prevention systems, machine shop skills, or plumbing and pipe-fitting. Proficiency in MS Windows and DOS required. Must have good communication skills, both oral and written. Must be able to interpret and utilize complex technical manuals, electrical and electronic schematics, tables and charts. Applicant must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position including but not limited to the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb, and stand or be mobile for periods in excess of 8 hours.
Must be available to work weekends when needed.
Hourly pay rate will be determined based on experience and knowledge.
Position requires regular, in-person attendance at the plant.
Ability to work with and as part of a team including but not limited to the Plant Manager, managers, employees throughout Cardinal, and vendor partnerships
Ability to exercise good judgement in decision making, ideas, and all aspects relating to the PLANT team, Cardinal and other company relationships
Maintain professional appearance and conduct, exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times
