Our award-winning cheese facility in Marshfield, WI produces quality cheese and whey products for customers around the world. Join our team as a Maintenance Technician to keep our plant running in top condition 24/7. If you have mechanical experience or are willing to learn, apply today and find out what it means to be Foremost! We have 2nd shift (2:00 pm - 12:00 am and 3rd shift (12:00 am - 10:00 am) openings. Starting Pay for our Maintenance Techncian is $26.25 / hour. Earn a $3,000 Sign on bonus paid out over a year!

JOB DUTIES:

• Install motors and pumps
• Weld stainless steel
• Maintain ammonia refrigeration equipment
• Operate boilers
• Conduct preventative maintenance and electrical troubleshooting
• Work with pneumatics, instrumentation, HVAC and more

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass a general maintenance exam
• Willing to use a forklift (training is provided)
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodations
• Must be detail oriented
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment
• Participation in team environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Food processing experience preferred, or experience maintaining manufacturing equipment
• Electro-Mechanical Technology degree or related education desired
• Experience with ammonia systems, welding, boilers, cooling towers, pumps and motors, electrical
• Able to read and understand standard operating procedures
• Prior PLC experience is helpful, programming and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of GMP's and OSHA is highly desirable
• Experience with single phase and three phase power
