1. Scope
a. This policy outlines the responsibilities of a maintenance technician
2. Responsibility/Job description
a. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment of the facility
b. performing repairs, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance of entire facility equipment including electrical systems, plumbing, any other maintenance related. Maintains and improves machine condition, quality, and integrity of all building systems and building appearances.
3. Procedures/Job duties
a. Trouble shooting equipment
i. Mechanical
ii. Electrical
iii. Pneumatic
b. Repairing equipment
i. All equipment repairs will be to OEM expectations
1. If OEM repairs cannot be completed, repairs will be done in a safe manner and inspected by leadership for safe operations until OEM repairs can be completed
c. Performing preventative maintenance
i. All facility equipment will be maintained (preventative maintenance) to OEM requirements.
ii. All P.M.’s will be followed per OEM standards and work orders will be passed out from Maintenance management
1. All P.M. documentation will be followed and completed to meet the requirements of MKS Plastics preventative maintenance program
4. Expectations

a. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
b. On-Time for shift start per assigned work schedule
c. Ability to work full shift on his/her feet
d. On call if or when needed
e. Have all necessary tools listed in MKS job requirements
f. Able to multitask multiple priorities at one time

5. Work Experience and or schooling Requirements
a. Two (2) years maintenance experience is a plus or equivalent combination of education and work experience
6. Verification

a. Verification is obtained by daily observations from Maintenance Manager, internal audits and yearly performance reviews by Maintenance Manager.

Pay: Up to $999,999,999.00 per hour
