Additionally, we have served this community with Camp Parkview which is an annual summer camp for Developmentally disabled adults. Other services we provide include our Pre-Purchase/Homeownership Program and our Mortgage Default Counseling Program.

$25 - $28 hourly

• Electrical- perform minor electrical repairs such as outlets, switches, and light fixtures
• Plumbing- perform routine plumbing repairs such as clearing drain lines, replacing broken pipes-worn out washers- gaskets and or faucets- and toilet fill valves
• Carpentry- perform routine carpentry repairs such as kitchen cabinets, window screens, door locks, and plaster/drywall
• Mechanical- perform minor mechanical repairs such as repairing/diagnosing all major appliances, and operating needed power tools
• Other unskilled tasks such as interior and exterior painting, floor tile installation and repair, interior cleaning
• Inventory- identifying, cataloging, and procuring necessary materials used in maintenance operations
• Basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance
• Recognize when specialized knowledge is needed
• Other duties as assigned

• Excellent interpersonal skills are required. Our renters are people with Developmental Disabilities and the Maintenance Technician must have patience and a desire to serve the community
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required; meticulous attention to detail
• Flexibility: Due to the nature of the portfolio you may have to pause from one job to travel to another property with an emergency repair issue
• Thorough knowledge of home maintenance and a minimum of 5 years experience in home maintenance and/or construction/remodeling
• Familiarity with current local building codes
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel by vehicle for up to 8 hours per day
