Job description
Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking qualified applicants for this full-time position. This person performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance tasks related to the upkeep and operation of the buildings on campus and satellite sites . Duties
To perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled building construction and maintenance tasks relating to the renovation, upkeep, and operation of campus buildings and facilities; to perform and/or assist in the repair and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems; to perform carpentry and painting tasks. And all other duties assigned.
Must be able to work in hot, cold, wet and/or dusty environments. Must be able to bend, crawl, work in tight and confined spaces, climb ladders, operate lift equipment, and lift 100 lbs.
Minimum Qualifications

An associate degree from an accredited college in building construction or related field.
2 years of experience performing a variety of skilled building construction and maintenance duties related to designated trade and/or field.
Must possess a valid NC driver’s license with a minimum five (5) years driving experience with no more than one (1) minor accident or violation in the past three (3) years.
Must have begun or will complete Hepatitis B vaccinations.
Extensive experience directly related to the position duties well documented in the application packet may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
