MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN, LEVEL 1

JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician Level 1 will be responsible for the monitoring, upkeep, and improvement of Myotek’s SMT and Assembly machines and equipment. This includes but is not limited to start-up procedures, emergency repairs, consumable and spare part management, and preventative maintenance.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Below is a listing of the job functions this position performs. Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform start up procedures of machines and equipment.
• Perform pre-shift checks and record or report results.
• Monitor the machines and equipment for non-standard conditions that could cause a machine failure.
• Perform recovery (break down) maintenance.
• Perform scheduled PM’s on the machine.
• Use manuals and prints for the troubleshooting of simple mechanical, pneumatic and electrical problems.
• Adjustment or replacement of simple read switches
• Maintain 5S of area.
• Report safety, quality, production, and personnel concerns to management immediately
• Stop shipment or production process for quality or safety concerns.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, an individual should meet these minimum education and experience requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical knowledge
• Basic fabrication skills
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Able to obtain forklift and aerial work platform certification.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

To perform the job successfully, an individual should be able to meet the physical requirements of the position:

• Work in a standing position and be able to twist, turn, reach, bend, lift and grip.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a manufacturing environment using various pieces of equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
