Are you a Certified Pool Operator or do you have past experience / an interest in working with maintenance tasks relating to building repairs, HVAC, electrical or plumbing? Seeking those to join the Maintenance team of the Lodge. Meet with the maintenance managers and interview with us to join the team! If you want to learn more, we could use some hands to help out with taking care of this beautiful, large facility. They are willing to train and teach you about these areas, the requirement for this position is knowing about pool operations, we need those with previous knowledge of this area due to our four pools and 2 waterslides; however! We are accepting those to the team without the CPO certification, as well, the starting wage is $14/hr without the CPO certification.
Come in person to the Bavarian Inn Lodge, this is the required first step; behind the conference center, to interview - follow the walkway with the white fence - Human Resources office is just inside the door to the left. Monday through Friday 8:30-4pm to interview in-person.
Experience with HVAC, electrical and plumbing maintenance. Additionally - for this position only those with CPO certification, as well, will be considered - there are also non CPO Maintenance positions open at $14/hr starting wage. Maintenance experience is required for this position; works on the pools maintenance; specialty maintenance. Full-Time 5 days per week. Weekdays, weekends, evenings and some holidays. Starting wage is $16/hr and can be higher depending on applicants experience history presented.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs various repairs to insure that the Lodge's 4 pools and 2 waterslides and hot tub are maintained in pristine condition. Responsible for implementing preventative maintenance to minimize future problems and expenditures. Helps maintain security.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years of age. HVAC, electrical, and plumbing prior experience required, as well as, CPO Certification for specialty maintenance of the pools. High School Diploma or equivalent, minimum one year experience of light repair and maintenance. Ability to use/climb ladders, be on feet for continuous length of time, bend, reach, stretch and lift. Valid state driver’s license required. Ability to drive Lodge vehicles and to be insured.
UNIFORM: Charcoal work pants, silver-grey work shirt, black leather tie work shoes or boots with rubber soles name tag.
