Fred Finch Youth & Family Services is a series of evidence-based therapeutic centers for adolescents and families struggling with mental health issues. With locations across Northern and Southern California, Fred Finch offers a family-systems approach, providing gender-specific, individualized, and comprehensive holistic programs that encompass clinical therapy, academic support, and experiential practices. We treat adolescents and young adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, and substance abuse. Offerings include residential treatment, intensive outpatient programming, therapeutic day schools, and day treatment. Fred Finch Youth & Family Services nurtures the physical, psychological, social, educational, and social needs of adolescents and their families, from a foundation of compassionate care, clinical expertise, and unconditional love. Maintenance Worker

Help Change a Child’s Life Trajectory
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for the overall repair, upkeep and safe operation of Fred Finch Youth & Family Service facilities (owned and leased), including, but not limited to painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical work, light construction, documentation of repairs, as well as delivery of and pickup of maintenance supplies. This position is also responsible for assisting with agency vehicle maintenance as needed. The Maintenance worker is expected to perform routine and preventive maintenance and repairs for assigned building(s), facilities and equipment, ensuring technical operations are in proper working order.

Shifts Available
Full Time; Mon-Fri/8am-5pm
Salary Range
In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position is between $17.52 and $22.87 hourly. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
What You Bring To The Table (Key Qualifications -see Job Description for more details)

• Education: High School Diploma or GED or a minimum of four (4) years of experience in general facility maintenance.
• Valid California Driver’s License (or the ability to obtain one within 10 days of hire) and good driving record. Ability to drive vans and light trucks safely if assigned to driving duties.
• A minimum of one (1) year’s general maintenance experience in building/equipment, maintenance and carpentry and repairs
• A minimum of one years’ experience in plumbing maintenance.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to use a variety of shop equipment and tools.
• Working knowledge of building materials and their use.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Demonstrated knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and effectively with co-workers and staff and to develop helpful relationships with the participants we serve.
• Basic computer skills and/or demonstrated aptitude to use computer-based technologies i.e. Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Preferred

• Possession of a certificate in plumbing maintenance.
