ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?

The Manager Account Operations- plays a key role in the execution of our 4 P principles within our Strategic Accounts. The role is responsible for supporting the Account team who are responsible for Strategic Accounts in a fast-paced environment that is critical to meeting today’s evolving business objectives. This includes program execution, managing product distribution, store openings/closings and developing strategic relationships with key account stakeholders.

This is a pivotal role within the organization and an opportunity to help transform the way that we activate our brands and introduce specialized plans and strategies in key markets.


Reports to:
Lead Manager Account Operations Support-Strategic Accounts

Core Relationships: Internal – Field Trade, SP&I, RGM, LEX, Brand, Finance, ATM External-3rd Party Agencies

Geographic Scope: Local


WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Owns master data in Salesforce for the Account- to include store openings/closings, Account structure realignments, contract/program push downs.
  • Collaborates with Lead Manager Account Planning to support day-to-day operations with our Strategic Account group.
  • Executes new item set up for Retail and Direct Account if applicable
  • Coordinates force outs, new product distribution, and VAP templates
  • Processes TPS Vouchers, Special Payments, etc.
  • Supports the development/creation/maintenance of POG's
  • Provide Account Updates to key internal stakeholders
  • Cross functional interactions and building internal relationships with other departments, MI&I, Wholesale, Cycle Planning, etc.
  • Supports Customer Activation plans
  • Attends meetings at Account HQ - develops relationships with Account

  • Be aware of the Company environmental, health & safety policies and comply with the objectives as it relates to the role
  • Follow Company Safety Rules
  • Know the potential health & safety risks and environmental impacts of work activities and understand role in mitigating these impacts
  • Understand responsibilities for compliance with regulatory requirements and Company standards
  • Complete EHS-required training and follow operational procedures
  • Immediately report all injuries and illnesses
  • Participate in EHS programs as required


ESSENTIAL

  • Proven excellence in customer management and relationship building.
  • Has a record of success developing self
  • Demonstrated potential to lead, coach, and develop others


Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

  • Strong ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (V-Lookup, etc.)
  • Dynamic communication skills
  • High collaborative skill set to engage with field trade marketing (TM – AE’s / SDRs)
  • Conflict resolution / solution oriented
  • Possesses a high level of results orientation
  • Possesses strategic business acumen skills that are account management oriented
  • Conflict management/problem solving for mutually beneficial results
  • Highly effective oral, written, and listening communications skills delivered in a manner appropriate to the needs of the audience


Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to visually inspect and manipulate merchandising and advertising displays
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and safe driving records
  • Ability to drive up to 200 miles per day
