Who are we hiring?

The Manager, Digital Analytics will be a key strategic partner for the MSG Entertainment & MSG Sports portfolio of businesses (Knicks, Rangers, Concerts, the Rockettes, Christmas Spectacular and MSG Sphere). In this role, the person will drive key insights across the organization through a deeper understanding of consumer behavior, site performance, social analytics, path-to-purchase, and team/venue app by leveraging a full suite of analytics tools. This role will report to the Director, Engagement Strategy within the centralized Data & Analytics team.

What will you do?

  • Perform in-depth analysis of cross-channel analytics reporting (web, app & social) to make recommendations for improvements in engagement strategies, remarketing tactics, content series, and customer journey mapping.
  • Leverage data visualization tools & techniques to develop web analytics dashboards and reporting to provide stakeholders the ability to monitor goals/KPIs and translate key insights to make strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with Engagement Strategy, Media, and Digital platforms team to implement best practices and lead multivariate testing plans for site design, media targeting, and customer journeys.
  • Collaborate with Digital Content teams to track social series performance and provide direction to Marketing Partnerships on sellable franchises.
  • Analyze key metrics, identify trends and make recommendations to improve overall engagement and customer experience with easy to digest presentations.
  • Coordinate with IT and Digital platforms teams to manage the creation and implementation of new custom tags and ensure data is flowing into the Data Warehouse
  • Identify data gaps and potential new tools and services to enhance our ability to track the full digital customer journey.
  • Develop clear and effective presentations to key stakeholders that communicate complex concepts into an actionable plan.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Minimum Experience: 4+ years’ work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Marketing or related field is highly preferred
  • Expert knowledge using web analytical tools like Adobe/Omniture and/or Google Analytics and social media management tools like Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Sprout
  • Must have strong presentation & storytelling skills to communicate insights and implications found in the data into cohesive narratives
  • Process-oriented, mindset of continual improvement; passion for analyzing data and processes with the intent of driving progressive improvements and significant innovation
  • Strong organizational & problem solving skills, with the ability to manage and develop various projects at different stages
  • Consumer focused with ability to form working relationships with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, IT personnel and project leaders
