The Manager, Global Product Marketing (CC/IA) is responsible for developing and leading our Chemistry and Immunoassay portfolio launch strategy and execution of all downstream marketing activities.

This position is part of Global Product Marketing located in Brea, CA and will be Hybrid (Brea, CA local) or Remote (US based). At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be part of the Global Product Marketing CCIA team and report to the Director, Global Marketing CCIA Solutions responsible for shaping and driving the cohesive global marketing strategy, comprehensive planning and tactical positioning of integrated programs that improve brand awareness and market share gains for the CCIA solutions business. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop the global marketing strategy and build compelling value propositions for Beckman Coulter’s chemistry and immunoassay solutions with the end goals of upholding positioning, driving product adoption and attachment rates, and growing product revenue.
  • Drive the Launch Excellence process and presentation to Senior Leadership for assigned products/product category.
  • Use customer, market and business insights to find opportunities for new critical initiatives and campaign optimizations that allow us to grow product revenue, differentiate our products in the marketplace and move healthcare forward.
  • Develop expertise on customer buying criteria, market segmentation and the competition to build strategies that win in the market and best position the business.
  • Partner with global and regional cross functional teams to develop and drive cohesive go to market strategies in connection with the larger Beckman Coulter solution. Work together to generate product claims matrix, evidence plans, thought leadership initiatives, global campaigns, sales training, tools and collateral
  • Responsible for forecasting in alignment with regional marketing teams across the globe.
  • Conduct win/loss interviews, use market intelligence and product knowledge to generate competitive intelligence and implement market growth measures.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in field with 9+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree in field with 7+ years of relevant experience OR Doctorate degree in field with 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 5 years of successful product marketing and commercialization experience with growing responsibilities
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Proven track record of success in positioning, managing, and marketing products to the healthcare industry through their life cycle and to multiple customer segments
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing, developing and motivating people from diverse backgrounds; able to lead cross-functional global business teams

It would be a plus if you also possess:

  • Solid knowledge of Marketing and related Diagnostics, Medical Devices, Clinical Chemistry / Immunoassay applications and infrastructures
  • Personal efficiency and logical problem solving; demonstrated ability to prioritize and move project tasks forward in an optimized fashion
  • Customer-centric view of commercialization with strong ability to develop business cases and succinctly communicate value propositions to a broad group of leaders
  • Strong communicator: able to relate to all levels of the organization and can readily identify and escalates matters of major importance to the company
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of comfort in public speaking, both in a large group and small group settings
  • Metric driven performance and sound financial management
  • Enjoys working in a team and is curious about customer motivation, behaviors, and trends
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is encouraged including the ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
