Reporting to the Director of 4 Wheel Motorsports, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of Red Bull North America's (RBNA) 4 Wheel Motorsports program while adapting Red Bull's global motorsport strategy to align with business objectives, executing at the highest level across assigned projects. You will play an important role in the build-out of the national 4-Wheel Motorsports strategy and business plan, supporting the development and management of an events, athletes, team, and partner portfolio, designing new event programs, and driving the execution of program activities within RBNA's regions.

  • DEFINITION, DEVELOPMENT AND EXECUTION

    Define and implement RBNA 4 Wheel Motorsports strategy: business plans and processes, project and resource plans, event and activation calendars, status updates, and budgets

    Manage RBNA 4 Wheel Motorsports athlete, team, event, and strategic partner portfolio

    Ensure alignment with Global Motorsports strategy and stakeholders

    Support Regional Sports Marketing teams across all motorsport's projects, business planning, and asset creation

    Champion a long-term and scalable business strategy for Red Bull 4 Wheel Motorsports programs that incorporates events, product activations, strategic partners, along with team & athlete programs

    Manage and execute program roadmap, business plans and processes, project and resource plans, event and editorial calendars, status updates and budgets

    Provide actionable insights to all region teams to foster and support scalable 4 Wheel Motorsports opportunities across the United States

    Manage long-term execution of strategic partnerships with key 3rd party events, leagues and teams to drive Brand relevance and support product sales

    Partner with stakeholders across Red Bull brand, media and marketing divisions to integrate 4 Wheel Motorsport program elements within their business plans and operations

    Define clear branding standards in alignment with global strategy, including providing the necessary tools (guidelines, manuals, workshops) for all regional teams to execute projects at a premium level

    Maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date understanding of the 4 Wheel Motorsports industries, audiences, and series/team/athlete landscapes

    Manage event and experiential agencies (RFP, budget management, briefing, and deadlines)

    Identify strategically relevant brand partners to grow Red Bull brand awareness and generate revenue in alignment with RBNA's Partnership Team

  • ATHLETE AND TEAM MANAGEMENT

    Partner with the Director, Motorsports Marketing 4-Wheel to execute a long-term team and athlete strategy focused on the identification, acquisition, sponsorship, management and development of top talent

    Partner with Red Bull APC (Athlete Performance Center) team to implement innovative performance improvement tools to ensure athletes and teams perform at their best

    Set individual athlete goals and target outcomes aligned with international and national sports marketing strategy

    Negotiate athlete agreements and contracts - including performance expectations and goals, retainer, bonus, branding rights, availability, schedule, and usage rights

  • EVENT MANAGEMENT

    Leads quality event execution (planning, organization, and production) of all assigned Four Wheel Motorsports program events

    Support regional Sports Marketing teams in planning and execution of event their managed event programs

    Supports feasibility and location identification for event properties based on national and local market needs and expected ROI

    Manages event budgets: works with Legal to construct contracts, puts contracts out for bid, assesses the best proposals and negotiates best prices for all relevant partners / suppliers

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 4 years of Sports Marketing / Management experience
  • Experience, passion, and knowledge of Motorsports (Formula 1 is key)
  • Success with creating and implementing strategies to businesses
  • Experience with planning and project management (event, athlete, content)
  • Background of interacting with senior leaders (domestic and global), and the ability to manage up/down within matrixed organization
  • Previous oversight experiential and event agencies
  • Ability to cultivate a team-working environment and be a leader
  • Understanding of sport, media, and consumer insights
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint skills essential, Adobe Creative Suite a plus)
