Phoenix Paper Wickliffe LLC is searching for qualified candidates to assume the role of Manager of Analysis / Controller.
Summary/Objective
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Manager of Analysis / Controller will be responsible for general accounting, month end closing, and financial reporting. Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements, and submitting monthly results to Headquarters. Completes ad hoc analysis and compiles information requested by Headquarters as needed.
Key responsibilities of the Manager of Analysis / Controller position include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Oversee the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Asset and general accounting functions.
· Process and analyze month end closing, G/L reconciliations, and journal entries.
· Manage monthly and yearly close requirements.
· Responsible for coordinating audit engagements and completing audit requirements.
· Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
· Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
· Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
· Responsible for all revenue recognition reporting and compliance requirements.
· Prepare timely Financial Statements & Management Reports.
General Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field; ten (10) years related experience and/or training required.
· Three (3) years of experience in management/leadership roles required.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software required.
· Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred.
· Experience working within the manufacturing industry preferred.
· Big 4 Accounting Firm experience in auditing preferred.
· SAP software experience preferred.
· Great time management skills.
· Ability to maintain confidential information.
· Must possess clear written and verbal communications skills and strong interpersonal skills; able to respond to, interact and collaborate with clients, vendors/suppliers and employees.
· Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
· Self-starter, with the ability to work independently and as a team member.
