Tacmed Solutions has an opening for a 3rd shift Manufacturing Manager. This position will provide leadership to the 3rd shift include planning, schedules and manages the manufacturing production processes. Assist with the updating process documents/flows and directing of efficient layouts of equipment and material. Ensure manufacturing performance, volume and quality goals are met by utilizing efficient methods of maintaining appropriate staffing levels. Requires a bachelor's degree or 3-5 years experience managing people in a manufacturing environment. The Manufacturing Manager manages subordinate staff in day-to-day performance of their jobs. Reports to the Director, Medical Solutions Group, Anderson SC Campus dotted line to Manager R&D.

Duties:

Supervise day-to-day manufacturing process on 3rd shift

Support operations department by executing production schedules, updating production status in support of customer orders

Anticipate and mitigate risks that may effect the production of items and impact on time delivery to our customers

Report, maintain, and track inventory and work with Operations to maintain optimal levels

Ensure efficient communication, coordination and deconfliction between relevant departments to include; Operations, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Warehouse Operations and R&D.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• +3 years experience managing people in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrate leadership and ability to manage and lead a small group of production employees
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational skills, and verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to update and maintain process documentation per ISO requirements
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment
• Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key business partners, both internal and external, by building personal credibility and trust.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
