Job description
The Manufacturing Production Worker is a multi-functional role that is responsible for setting up and operating equipment in the process of fabricating metal builiding parts or assembling metal roll-up doors or operation of other metal-forming type machines.
This is an entry level role with training provided and growth opportunities. Applicants must have a safety-first mindset and maintain World Class quality standards in a diverse, fast paced work environment. Job Responsibilities
- Operate machinery used in the production process for the assembly line.
- Set up tooling, load programs, and set machine parameters.
- Accurately complete all paperwork associated with the position.
- Load and unload items from machines and carts, and band finished product.
- Build wood crates and packaging for finished metal products.
- Feed or place items onto equipment for processing.
- Mark parts for identification.
- Measure length and work with tight tolerances.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- Self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions and work within a diverse workforce.
- Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to accurately use a tape measure.
- Attention to detail with a desire to produce high quality and accurate work.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Strength and Stamina: Productions workers must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods doing repetitive motions.
Salary
$16/Hour
