ABOUT THE ROLE:

The MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Technician position requires organization and scheduling of Special Assembly orders to be processed through the team. It requires in depth knowledge of process, equipment capability, and blank selection opportunities. This is accomplished through the described functions, duties and responsibilities listed below.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generate routings for all Special Assembly orders assigned to the team
• Distribute assigned work to appropriate work centers
• Organize semi completed and completed work for assembly
• Pull blanks when necessary
• Perform other tasks as assigned by team foreman
• Participates in continuous improvement practices such as 5S, Kaizen events, value stream mapping or other improvement projects or teams
• Perform Factivity “Order Maintenance” and order scheduling
• Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO MATE PRECISION TECHNOLOGIES:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrate working expertise with computerized workflow systems
• Ability to read and write in English and communicate effectively
• Strong computer skills (Windows, Excel, Word)
• Highly knowledgeable in Special Assembly component processing
• History of good work standards, good quality, and team participation
• Minimum of one year direct experience with Special Assemblies (engineering, sales or material control)
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms and occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch.

PAY:

Up to $24 per hour

SHIFT PREMIUM:

$1.00 per hour for 2nd shift

WORK HOURS:

Monday to Friday 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
