Manufacturing Scheduler

Belstra Milling Company is a world-class feed manufacturing facility. Belstra is searching for a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to coordinate and facilitate the communication between multi-site order entry, ingredient receiving, feed manufacturing and product delivery. This individual must work in compliance with all the company policies, local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

• Proficiency in order entry, inventory management and ingredient receiving
• Communicate and plan daily activities
• Review feed orders, inventories, and expected ingredient receivables
• Make hourly, daily and weekly strategy decisions
• Utilize input from logistics, manufacturing, repair and maintenance, and compliance to make the most efficient and complete plan each day for IN plants
• Utilize and improve all technology tools to better predict needs
• Evaluate, train and lead employees in the three main facilities
• Participate in company management meetings

Skills and Requirements (included but not limited to):

• Working knowledge of IT products and Microsoft Office
• Ability to learn the BMC system quickly and efficiently
• Ability to operate under stressful conditions
• Commitment to providing excellent products and services to customers and their livestock in a timely manner

Physical Demands:

• Ability to regularly lift 60-pounds
• Work near moving mechanical parts
• Ability to work in a dusty, cold, hot, and humid environment
• Withstand exposure to seasonal weather conditions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Previous feed manufacturing experience preferred but not required
• Associate degree with 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing

OR

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on manufacturing, management and system studies
