Market Intelligence Manager
The position is responsible for the professional leadership and management of NYP’s market intelligence function and is critical for the strategic planning, development, and implementation of initiatives reflective of today’s changing healthcare environment.
Essential Job Duties
· Oversees NYP’s Market Intelligence function that supports the Enterprise’s various strategic, business, and decision-making processes.
· You will partner with stakeholders at all levels of the Organization to understand their objectives and translate them into analytical frameworks that generate key market insights.
· Data and analytics are the foundation of this role. You understand how to interpret external and internal data sets, can combine them effectively and conduct analyses utilizing critical thinking skills to solve problems.
· Gathers strategic business intelligence. Undertakes market analyses, market monitoring, and uses models and develops profiles to assist and advise Leadership on identified opportunities.
· You will also be responsible to present complex analyses, findings, and recommendations in simple, clean deliverables to different types of audiences across the Enterprise.
· Major focus areas include service line planning, network development (hospital and ambulatory), business plan development, operations planning, capital planning, technology planning, and general strategic planning support for CEO and Board of Trustee presentations and retreats.
· You will assist in identifying tools and develop dashboards that allow for easier access to data points across the organization.
· This is a dynamic and highly visible role, and your project assignments will be constantly changing.
Required Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in health care, strategic planning, consulting, and/or related experience.
- Excellent methodology driven problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability work with large and diverse data sets.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Comfort with ambiguity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in business planning and financial modeling (preferred).
- Working knowledge in data visualization platforms and dashboard development (Tableau etc.) (preferred)
This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to work 2-3 days per week from our midtown Manhattan office.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $89,000.00 - $133,000.00 per year
