Description

The primary purpose of this role is to support the Marketing leadership team execute large-scale strategic projects that require a high degree of coordination across the department, working with Product & Customer Marketing, Education, Creative Services, CRM and Digital Marketing to help deliver and report on our shared goals. This team member will assist in: supporting the creation of strategic and execution plans, coordinating key project and goal updates, monitoring our financial marketing peers, and partnering with our Analytics function to produce meaningful marketing dashboards and performance reports with actionable insights. This team member will also partner closely with Data Science, Client Development & Sales, Corporate Communications, HR and Finance on other key initiatives. He or she will report to the Head of the Marketing Department.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with Marketing leadership and initiative leads to support the creation of strategic and execution plans for department top goals/projects

• Help coordinate regular key project and goal updates and ensures expectations are clearly communicated and project teams stay in sync

• Produce a global calendar across the department of what is “in the market this week”

• Research, develop and share competitive, peer and partner marketing intelligence reviews

• Partner with the department to proactively manage the Marketing budget (across the different disciplines) with Finance

• Engage with team members across Marketing to redefine processes in our department and increase efficiency

• Assists Marketing Analytics team and department leadership to ensure we have the dashboards, tracking mechanisms and actionable data to quantitively demonstrate the value of marketing

Skills and Software Requirements:

• Excellent writing and presentations skills, specifically utilizing PowerPoint

• An interest in new marketing trends and concepts (strategies, tactics and channels) and passion for data

• High level of independence, energy and strong project management skills; strong attention to detail

• A proactive self-starter who has shown the ability to problem solve, prioritize workload, deal with unforeseen challenges and handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Critical thinker, with strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence others

• Very comfortable in Excel to help proactively manage budgets and timelines
