SUMMARY: The Marketing Associate will work closely with the Marketing Manager on promotion and digital marketing efforts to drive sales and build brand awareness. The primary duties of the Marketing Associate will be to coordinate and implement marketing and communication projects collaborating with general management and the sales team as well as all social media efforts. This individual will work with internal team members to develop content strategy, and manage the creation and execution of content to meet those strategic goals for the growth of the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Operations:
- Managing daily administrative tasks to ensure the Marketing department runs smoothly
- Take control of all social media platforms as well as build out a schedule for posting
- Develops and supports the execution of marketing plans
- Assists, coordinates and implements marketing communication projects in special events, advertising and public relations
- Updates and maintains the PAR website with current and relevant information
- Gathering and analyzing consumer behavior data (e.g. web traffic and rankings)
- Develop a keen awareness of the competition and competitive products, as well as business and industry trends
- Generate marketing materials such as brochures, data, slides, photographs, videos, graphics and reports
- Assist in managing the apparel online store.
- Assisting in coordination of customer appreciation events for all branches
- Assist in coordinating logistics for all trade shows for all branches
Customer Service:
- Communicates with supervisor and staff in either written or verbal form in a clear, professional and efficient manner
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
General Requirements:
- Establishes and maintains effective channels of communications with management, co‑workers, vendors and all other business contacts
- Ensures the use of equipment and materials in a safe and acceptable manner, following established safety procedures, using appropriate safeguards, and observing common sense rules of safety in all on‑the‑job activities
- Conducts self in a manner reflecting credit on PAR and Star and encourages others to do the same
- Is organized, independent and self‑motivated, enthusiastic, dependable, detail‑oriented, flexible in scheduling and prioritization, and driven by excellence
- Directs tasks in accordance with changing deadlines and priorities to ensure positive outcomes
- Demonstrates proficient written and verbal communication skills, including accurate grammar and business correspondence
- Required to maintain a valid Class C driver’s license and a good driving record (if authorized to drive by HR Manager)
- Must be eligible to be added to company insurance
- Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
- Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of Pacific Ag Rentals
- Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education and/or Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in marketing or related area
- Familiar with standard marketing concepts, practices, compliance and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications a plus but not required
Computer Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Adobe Suite
- Hootsuite
Language Skills:
- Ability to respond to basic inquiries and present information effectively to customers, co-workers, and management verbally and in writing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
