MARKETING COORDINATOR
The Marketing Coordinator wears many hats: the position assists the marketing director in all aspects of marketing including: maintaining company websites & digital assets, developing and designing marketing campaigns and web content, generating official company communications with customers, email marketing design and development, execute and maintain social media campaigns, produces original content for social platforms, manages reputation management and online customer care, writes media releases, plans the annual advertising budget, manages ad & media buying and more.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
STRATEGY
- Coordinate and implement the strategic marketing plan for the rental portfolio
- Become an expert on our target market and the ways in which they search for apartments
- Dive into the marketing data and adjust the marketing plan based on those analytics
- Implement the day-to-day marketing campaigns and operations
- Write copy for websites, ads, social media and company blog, print etc
- Develop A/B testing for assets (e.g. test the most compelling property image on the web, perform ad set testing between two different types of creative on social or PPC ads)
- Familiar with Google Analytics or related analytics tools
- Develop special promotions for: lease up, student housing move in’s or promotions, seasonal promotions, etc
- Manage Online Reputation Management (reviews) and dispatching to the teams for quality control
- Manage Social Customer Care, including: lead requests via social (Twitter or Facebook), questions and inquiries from residents, prospects or strangers
WEBSITE MANAGEMENT
- Assists the marking director with maintaining all asset and brand websites for Contemporary Management Concepts and Contemporary Management equity
- Audit website for UX, functionality and traffic to ensure performance and that all content is relevant
- Perform search engine optimization
- Plan annual advertising and marketing budget
SOCIAL & EMAIL MANAGEMENT
- Maintain all asset and brand networks for social media including: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+ and YouTube and emerging media
- Produce and manage content for social media platforms
- Produce and manage email marketing and drip campaigns
- Prepare, coordinate, and publish online content on a timely basis
ADVERTISING
- Understand and actively seek online media solutions to achieve company goals for traffic, sales, and revenue
- Oversee production of online photo galleries, virtual tours, and videos as needed
- Managers relationships with sales vendors (digital and advertising sales)
- Write media releases and work with local media journals
DESIGN
- Generate new concepts and ideas for ads, campaigns and marketing collateral as well as reviewing/updating/
revising existing collateral.
- Work both individually and as part of a team to create web and print graphic solutions
- Create web, email and social media and content graphics
- Research current industry trends
- Set the bar for the quality of our visual identity as a brand
- Understand typography and layout
- Build and manage the system for organizing all assets: logo files, photos and videos, etc.
- Have a working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Familiar with responsive design
REPORTING
- Responsible for annual investor reporting of marketing efforts, goals and lead traffic
- Ad Hoc weekly lead reporting
- Periodic lead reporting in tandem with sales team

COMPETENCIES:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, communications, or related field. At least one year experience in marketing or communications. Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks and achieve deadlines under pressure. Proficient in MS Office suite, email, website building, and social media platforms. In addition, graphic design knowledge is required.
