We are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator for our Business Development Department in Menlo Park, CA. In this role, you will work as part of a team to support marketing efforts including brand and consultant marketing, digital campaign implementation and execution, internal and external communications creation, and a variety of other project support to assist marketing efforts.

Our ideal candidate is a diligent and organized professional, preferably with a marketing or client services administrative background. The Marketing Coordinator will provide administrative and business support to the Marketing team at Exponent.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting regular reporting efforts of the department, including report formatting, compiling data, following up with responsible consultants and administrative staff for status updates
  • Supporting digital marketing efforts including populating content into the CMS, intranet, email marketing templates, uploading social media posts, updating landing pages, and reporting on paid ads
  • Quality assurance testing on landing pages, email marketing, and all digital assets prior to go-live date
  • Providing search engine optimization (SEO) support by conducting keyword and competitor research and implementing SEO best practices
  • Supporting the resume creation and update process, regularly checking shared inbox, updating tracking system, confirming details and making updates to company website
  • As part of the events team, supporting end-to-end logistics for live and digital event programs, by tracking and updating event details and needs in our event database (Circa)
  • Ensuring event details are collected and verified with imperative timeline and key details being communicated back to key stakeholders
  • Organizing and maintaining the inventory of marketing assets: updating stock quantities, reordering stock, checking out and pulling items needed for events, returning items shipped back, and following up on missing assets
  • Working with the marketing team, prepare marketing/sales material packages for events
  • Coordinating shipping logistics for events, onsite set up and tear down, staffing schedules, pre- and post-show satisfaction surveys, and reports
  • Confirming and maintaining accurate records of, exhibitor/booth arrangements
  • Organizing event related files and paperwork for all events
  • Supporting the coordination of all print materials (signage, marketing materials)
  • Supporting queries and/or analytics using department software tools and CRM

You will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field (preferred)
  • 1-3 years of experience in a legal, engineering or other professional services firm; experience related to marketing, client services, and/or business development is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with all levels of staff
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Basic knowledge of HTML
  • Ability to learn marketing and project management software tools (HubSpot, Microsoft Teams, Ceros, WordPress, Drupal)
  • Demonstrated experience with editing documents for content, formatting, spelling/grammar
  • Experience and ability to work under quick timelines
  • Detail-oriented
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently on individual tasks as well as collaboratively with a variety of teams and work styles

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $28.85 - $36.06 depending on experience and capabilities which will be assessed during the interview process.
