Primary Responsibilities
HDR is seeking an enthusiastic self-starter to oversee the development of marketing content, track the pursuit of contracts, and help us organize and maintain our marketing information systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work with industry leaders and grow their skills in marketing and business development. The Marketing Coordinator will work as part of a tight-knit core marketing team in the Southwest.
Working in a collaborative team environment, the marketing coordinator is responsible for supporting our marketing program activities. The marketing coordinator’s primary responsibility will be research, technical and creative writing/editing, document layout and design, database management, and a range of other marketing tasks. While daily tasks vary, we’ll count on you to work with marketing and Project Managers to prepare materials, including qualifications, brochures, presentations, newsletters, proposals, award submittals, announcements and reports.
These efforts require a significant amount of independent research, collaboration, and technical writing. Strong organizational aptitude, attention to detail, and proactive communication skills are essential. This position requires balancing multiple concurrent assignments while maintaining quality and deadlines.
In the role of Marketing Coordinator, we'll count on you to:
Work with marketing and Project Managers to prepare materials, including qualifications, brochures, presentations, newsletters, proposals, award submittals, announcements and reports
Use intranet, collaboration and file repository sites
Develop and coordinate graphics, write and edit layout materials
Research and produce technical documents and reports
Perform other duties as needed

- Associate's degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), InDesign
- Writing ability, strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to handle tight deadlines and make independent decisions critical to job success
- Quick self-starter, team-oriented and able to work with different personalities and professional styles
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, or Journalism is preferred.
- Previous experience in and an understanding of the A/E/C industry is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to write marketing and technical collateral is strongly preferred.

The expected compensation range for this position is $25.33 - $36.18 hourly depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
