This role at a glance:

This is an excellent opportunity to join NBBJ Boston as a Marketing Coordinator. This is an exciting role for anyone looking to further their experience in marketing for a leading architectural practice. You will be a self-starter, highly motivated and adept at juggling deadlines. You will play a key role in coordinating and assisting teams for bid responses, assist in developing and maintaining marketing and promotional materials, helping to plan and execute client events and be involved in research, gathering data and updating records.

This role requires a proactive individual who is a creative thinker with a passion for understanding how to communicate architecture and design in a way that wins work and accurately communicates NBBJ’s brand. You will be focused on the detail, adept at coordinating people and have strong InDesign skills.

In your new role:

  • Work with NBBJ Marketing team and project teams in Boston and across the firm
  • Help coordinate and produce proposal submissions for marketing prospects (written and graphic support)
  • Helping to ensure standard project and firm information is up to date and easily accessible
  • Be accountable to the team, budget and program, while upholding the highest standards in all materials within the NBBJ brand
  • Coordinate and help execute the process for collecting and entering accurate project data into databases (Deltek Vision, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and OpenAsset), including project and resume InDesign files.
  • Provide support for miscellaneous marketing requests, conferences and event requests

What you will need to succeed:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ marketing experience, ideally but not essential in architecture or a design/construction related environment
  • Able to take initiative and complete tasks efficiently, while managing multiple competing deadlines
  • Mastery of InDesign is a must
  • Strong writing and editing skills, essential for drafting copy for bids and proofreading
  • Knowledge of print and production processes
  • Strong attention to detail, layout and typography
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality
  • An understanding and appreciation of architectural/design practice is preferred
