Job description
Oversees the advertising, marketing and public relations of Nathaniel Witherell in order to promote the services of the facility to new and existing customers. Reports to the Executive Director.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field. Three (3) years of marketing experience. Experience in a hospital or a long-term care facility preferred.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge of marketing principles.
Demonstrated ability to create marketing materials.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement programs and events.
Proven ability to establish and maintain working relationships with key stakeholder.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally.
Proven ability to deal tactfully and courteously with patients/residents and families
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of a personal computer and related software.
Examination: 100% Training & Experience Assessment
The examination to determine a candidate's eligibility for the position will be a Training and Experience Assessment. Duties and Responsibilities:
Creates, maintains, and continually expands a database of key stakeholders at referring hospitals and medical facilities in order to promote the services and benefits offered at Nathaniel Witherell and to grow census.
Develops appropriate electronic and printed communication materials including content for the facility’s website.
Creates press releases and responds to requests for comment from the press.
Develops and implements events and programs designed to promote the facility.
Maintains accurate records of inquiries and referrals.
Responds to information requests of residents and family members and conducts tours of the facility for potential residents.
Supports Town’s policies and philosophies.
Performs other related duties as required.
