Marketing Manager

The candidate we’re looking for: You have previously been involved in a lead-generation/direct response-focused marketing management position, preferably in the home improvement industry. You’re comfortable being the ‘rain-maker for a thriving and family-run company where everyone wears many different hats and where the phrase “that’s not my job” is never uttered. You’re someone who can work with both management and the sales teams to align your lead-generating efforts with their sales expertise with the ultimate goal of growing revenue and decreasing marketing costs.

Duties:

• Oversee all marketing initiatives including (but not limited to): print, digital, direct mail, PFP/PPL, Social, reputation, radio, television.
• Create a yearly marketing budget that aligns the ‘spend’ with the annual sales targets.
• Collaborate with the event team to ensure that all seasonal and permanent events have the marketing collateral they need to be successful with event attendees.
• Lead generation – responsible for generating enough daily/weekly/monthly leads/opportunities to achieve the company’s annual revenue goals.
• Be the main point of contact with the digital agency, TV agency, print media partners, etc.
• Drive down/optimize marketing costs with the ultimate goal being an aggregate marketing spend of 10%-15% of gross revenue.
• Create a monthly marketing/offer calendar to give management a proactive view of what promotions we’ll be running for the entire year.
• Work with Call Center Manager to ensure that daily/weekly/monthly lead generating goals are met/exceeded.
• Work with Event Coordinators to target events that will maximize the ROI and lead generation efforts.
• Go out to job sites to collect client testimonials, shoot client videos, and work with management to optimize the reputation management/client-facing aspects of the business.
