POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Manager manages the development, implementation and evaluation of integrated projects defined within the Hillcrest marketing plan to include service line development, collateral and channel distribution, social media, direct marketing, advertising, electronic and print media, web content development, and internal integration to support the growth and expansion of company services. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex, multi-step tasks simultaneously. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected, along with good writing and editing skills. Oversees marketing associates. Provides direction and guidance to associates as related to service line marketing. Adherence to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversees a team of marketing associates and provides guidance on marketing various service lines.
  • Directly responsible for wide-ranging patient acquisition and retention initiatives.
  • Writes and edits for a variety of materials and outlets including business letters, brochures, fact sheets, print ads, direct mail, web and social media, among others.
  • Supports the creation, execution and monitoring of the annual marketing plan, service line plan and budget tracking.
  • Responsible for managing and overseeing marketing strategies to meet measurable business and brand objectives.
  • Leads professional meetings with hospital and clinic leadership.
  • Works with digital, web and social media specialists to develop content and ideas for numerous campaigns.
  • Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge with fellow team members.
  • Provides regular and thorough project status updates to immediate supervisor.
  • Ensures patient confidentiality in all aspects of job performance.
  • Helps improve processes and strategies for more effective outcomes.
  • Takes ownership of assignments and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism and/or related degree
  • Five or more years in direct or indirect health care experience is preferred.

Technical Abilities:

  • Proficient in AP style
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
