Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is actively seeking a Marketing Specialist for the Katy, Texas location.

Position Overview

High octane, positive thinking, organized salaried leader to support the Marketing department with its primary and administrative duties. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for assisting the larger Andretti campaigns as well as developing local store Marketing, Fundraising, and strategic initiatives.

The Marketing Specialist is a critical part of the team and drives the organizational, scheduling, and administrative elements of their locations campaign. The work our Marketing Leader performs is a critical factor in the Marketing departments success and ability to attain its goals, as well as the long-term growth of Andretti as a Company.

This is a salaried Management Position with opportunities to grow and follow a career path.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist in the hiring, development, and Maintaining of a strong and vibrant Andretti Ambassadors Team
  • Prepare and deliver promotional Presentation’s weeks prior to the event dates.
  • Communicate directly with Guests and encourage trusting relationships
  • Write marketing literature (brochures, press release content, etc.) to rally the Company’s presence in the local Market
  • Compose online content and submit to Digital Marketing Leader for posting
  • Compose story board content for live local digital feed, become certified by our Digital Marketing Leader as an Andretti Live presenter
  • Organize, schedule and execute local promotional events
  • Update spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial data, communicate weekly
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings, etc.….) communicate to your Direct reports weekly
  • Conduct Market research and analyze consumer ratings reports and questionnaires
  • Support marketing executives in organizing various projects
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities. Communicate daily, weekly and monthly schedules, analytics and upcoming event

Position Requirements

Guest service and leadership experience is highly preferred

  • Previous marketing/promotional/event/street team experience preferred but not required
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Comfortable driving or assisting with cars, vans and small trucks
  • Must be able to work evenings, nights/weekends and holidays as required
  • Must be able to work in outdoor conditions and changing temperatures.
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Gregarious, upbeat and friendly personality
