Val just created this department, created Jan 2020. They found out that they did not have anyone leading a team for data integrity. Every department was doing it on their own. They created this department to uphold standards in their data across the entire company. Val is handling the management of the item, customer, and vendor data. They have started to centralize the work to her department so she needs more bandwidth on her team.

This is a 6 month contract to hire, permanent pay: up to $65-68k

Day to day:

• projects: data cleansing

example: 1k customers in prism (European system), extract and compare to actual sales and see what customers are we going to move obsolete or ones that are going live in the system

• Linkage of software systems
• standardization and SOPs needed
• data entry

-Working in CRM- salesforce, responsible for account rep changes and inactivate customers

-Writing up SOPs - uploading new accounts into computer system, CRM- salesforce, power bi- reporting tool- dabble in all of this

-Evaluating and loading- enter customer data into maintenance system- link ERP numbers to the salesforce account

Job Description:

• Responsible for evaluating and loading new accounts into the company’s computer system.
• Responsible for accurately entering customer data into the centralized maintenance system.
• Maintains customer information changes.
• Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies.
• Resolves deficiencies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
• Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
• Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
• Combines data from both systems when account information is incomplete.
• Purges files to eliminate duplication of data.
• Updates CRM system with new and existing account information.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Strong interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills; attention to detail

• Adding features to new & existing accounts

Because this is a new department this is a really hard question to answer. our department is centralizing master data. It is SO project based - 1st project is data cleansing - alot of this is manual. The type of work would be more entry level "ish" About a month and 1/2 - extracting data from ERP and putting up into Sales force - look and make sure there is an account number - if not create the account - again very manual. ERP and Salesforce DO NOT talk to each other. ERP is JDE. How do we resolve. After this is over you will be reviewing new customer in ERP, find the account in Salesforce and add to it or create new account in Salesforce - and so on. Work on customer set up

This would truly be a sales support role in creating customers
