Job Summary:
The CE Quality Control Inspector (QCI) is responsible for the application and status of processes relating to all contractual performance requirements in accordance with the Performance of Work Statement (PWS) in regard to Civil Engineering (CE) Operations. This position ensures all activities are compliant to the Service Summaries for CE Services while developing internal processes/controls which support the delivery of quality services.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts inspections to ensure quality control and safety plans are integrated with all phases of the program operation.
- Inspects a variety of goods and services for conformity to established quality, health, and safety requirements, and the Quality Control Plan
- Ensures compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations.
- Monitors and measures the characteristics of the products/services that are provided to verify requirements have been met.
- Analyzes and validates preventive and /or corrective actions.
- Identifies, collects, and analyzes appropriate data relevant to the suitability and effectiveness of program operation.
- Provides statistical and trend analysis to support process improvement.
- Sends out customer satisfaction surveys for completed work orders

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
Mandatory:
- Licensed Master Electrician, Master Plumber, or HVAC Class C
- Worked full-time for a minimum of five years in Civil Engineering Operation (CEO) with documented experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft, Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- Documented experience specifically related to a CE technical trade field with certification of training in the following code compliances:
- OSHA International Building Code
- Uniformed Building Code
- International Plumbing Code or Uniform Plumbing Code
- NEC (National Electrical Code)
- Asbestos Supervisor Course
- QS-9000 Quality Management System
- Related CE Operations Courses
- Sustainment Management Systems (SMS)
- Operations Engineering
- Work Management
- Preventative Maintenance
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to complete a criminal record background check.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to drive a company vehicle and be insured.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance if necessary.
- Must comply with all company policies.
- Must be able to obtain a flight line driver’s license.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Work Environment:
May perform work both indoors and outdoors as needed. Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard, and/or carpeted floors, cement structures, and surfaces, depending on the specific work site. May be periodically exposed to confined spaces, inclement weather conditions, or other work conditions determined by the nature of work.
