Position Summary
The primary duties of the Material Handler are the organized movement of material to the proper departments on the manufacturing floor or shipping based on the manufacturing schedule. This individual must also be self-motivated and able to manage multiple competing priorities that may change quickly. They should be able to work independently, and cooperatively with all team members.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Pull Spare Parts orders for shipment per picklist and deliver to shipping
• Pull required materials for manufacturing orders and stage/deliver to manufacturing department
• Operate forklift truck or hand truck, which includes unloading, weighing and storing raw materials in assigned areas
• Issue additional stock for manufacturing orders as needed
• Communicate shortages and substitutions to appropriate parties
• Communicate stock levels of all stocked MRO items
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal communication
• Maintain safe, clean, and orderly housekeeping practices
• Ensure all HBD Safety Policies and Procedures are followed when performing job duties

Experience and Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Forklift license preferred

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 20 lbs continuously and 50 lbs occasionally

• Requires standing continuously and walking occasionally throughout the day up to ten hours
