We specialize in four areas including custom machinery, precision fabrication, automated systems for medical device manufacturing, and contract manufacturing. Keller delivers sophisticated manufacturing solutions for many industries including Engineered Materials, Semiconductors, Robotics, Chemicals, Medical and Life Science, Energy Research, and Industrial Technologies.

We are currently seeking to fill the following position for our Buffalo location.

MATERIAL HANDLER

We are looking for a highly motivated, well organized, team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. High degree of ownership, and desire to make those around you better.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for processing the receipt of materials, categorizing/storing/moving of materials and arranging for shipment of materials from KTC.
  • Adhere to company policies and ISO standards.
  • Verify incoming packaging is sound and undamaged upon arrival at KTC.
  • Verify that packing slips match the content received (quantity, part numbers, descriptions, etc.).
  • Receive and label all incoming parts correctly.
  • Route incoming parts to the correct location after receipt (inspection, assembly bin, mfg. floor, etc.).
  • Verify that all shipping paperwork for outbound product has been provided and is complete prior to shipment.
  • Carefully pack all outbound product using appropriate materials and following customer specific packaging instructions, as required.
  • Arrange outbound shipments with freight providers (UPS, FedEx, Dedicated/LTL carriers).
  • Create and arrange part bins to store incoming materials for projects.
  • Fulfill pick tickets by pulling materials and delivering them to the designated manufacturing area.
  • Stage larger items in pallet racks or other designated storage locations.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have attention to detail when performing data entry or counting of parts.
  • Must possess at least beginner level skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & Outlook), and Adobe Reader.
  • Knowledge and experience operating warehouse equipment is a plus (fork lift, pallet jack, strapping tools, etc.).
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to stand on feet long periods of time.
  • Must have excellent planning and organizational skills.
Experience and Education
  • Must have prior warehouse and forklift experience.
  • Minimum High School Graduate or GED Equivalent.
