Our Seguin, TX location is seeking a highly self-motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler I to join our team. The ideal candidate has excellent problem-solving and communication skills in a manufacturing environment.

THE POSITION
- Ensure material is received, processed, properly stored, and issued accurately and in a timely manner to support production. Maintain storage shelf inventory quantity and accuracy to meet production requirements.
- Operate material handling equipment safely to perform assigned tasks.
- Carry out materials related tasks as assigned to include but not limited to; receiving, de-trashing, palletization, put-away, pick, deliver and maintain product on production shelves ready for use.
- Utilize existing computer systems and insure that proper and accurate transactions are accomplished.
- Actively participates in cost reduction, continuous improvement and team activity.
- Understanding function screens in WM Warehouse systems and familiar with basic functions in SAP
- Must be Flexible - able to move to other areas throughout the materials group as needed

Job Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 18 years of age
- Required to work a 12 hour work schedule
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- Vitesco is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Must be able to stand for periods up to 12 hours. Must be able to Push, Pull Reach, Twist, Turn, Stoop, Walk, Stand for 12 hours.
