Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, Qualification, Metallurgical, Corrosion, Chemical and Mechanical Lab Testing (Fatigue, Tensile, Hydrogen Embrittlement, Adhesion, Micro Sectioning, Hardness, Porosity, Titration, Corrosion, Fluid Compatibility, impact, wear, etc.)
• Design Engineering (FEA, Fatigue)
• Engineering Drawings and Solid Modeling (SolidWorks)
• Robot and CNC Programming
• Technical Data Publication and Review
• Perform other duties as requested

Candidate Skills & Capabilities:

• Computer Aided Drafting / Solid Modeling
• Technical Writing
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Metallurgical, Mechanical, Chemical and Corrosion Testing a plus
• Material, Chemical and Environmental Analysis a plus
• CNC Programming and machining experience is a plus
• Robot Programming a plus
• Electrical Experience a plus

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Metallurgical, Materials Science and Engineering) from an ABET accredited university or college. Master’s Degree is a plus.
• 2 to 8 years of professional experience
• Aerospace Industry experience a plus

Other Requirements:

• Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
• As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to participate in a background investigation and be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
• Ability to travel if required.
