Job description
We have excellent Nurse Educator opportunity for Maternal Child Health which include Mother/Baby and the Labor and Delivery Nursing Departments. In this role, you will participate in the development, implementation, and provide education and reinforcement of nursing practice. The Nurse Educator identifies learning needs of nursing staff, in assigned clinical areas and throughout the Department of Nursing, to promote and maintain competency. In addition, this role plans educational activities that incorporate the nursing process, which are based on current evidence and support excellence in nursing practice.
Requirements: NYS Registered Nurse license, Masters in Nursing, BLS and NRP.
Experienced Registered Nurse with 5-10 years’ in Maternal Child Health RN experience and a minimum of one year experience, as a Nurse Educator. Certification in relevant clinical area and Nursing Professional Development preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
