Job description
Position is for the 2022-2023 & 2023-2024 school years. Position will support the expansion of the MTSS framework to include math interventions and supports at the elementary and middle school leveles.
Required Education:
Elementary:
- Elementary K-6 Certification, preference given to candidate with advanced coursework or certification(s) in mathematics
- Middle School: Any applicable certification that enables the candidate to teach mathematics at the middle school level (Elementary K-6, Middle Level Math 7-9, Secondary Math 7-12, etc.)
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to interact with and to teach diverse populations
- Deep understanding of evidence-based strategies and practices for teaching mathematics
- Proficiency in the use of technology for individual communication, research, and test administration and interpretation Other Requirements: Maintain emotional control under stress.
Proposed Compensation:
- Up to 75 students $2000 per year
- Up to 150 students $2500 per year
- Up to 151-300 students $3000 per year
- Up to 301+ students $3500 per year
