This position will place you at an internationally accredited medical simulation lab. Under general supervision in this position you will be taught and expected to: utilized high fidelity medical simulators in the training and quality improvement of health care providers, work in a well-funded innovations lab utilizing 3-D Printers and traditional model creation techniques. You will also integrate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and learn what it takes to be a member of these teams.

  • Location: Evanston Hospital
  • Resource/Per Diem
  • Hours: Day shift; Monday-Friday 6:30AM-4:00PM with occasional weekends, early starts and working late
  • Required Travel: N/A

What you will need:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors preferred.
  • Certification: CPR-Basic Life Support certification preferred. Instructor preferred.
  • Experience: Comfortability with technology

What you will do:

  • The Surgical Simulation Lab Technician’s primary responsibility is to support lab activities through preparation for, support during and cleanup after activities.
  • The Surgical Simulation Lab Technician is also responsible for maintaining the lab environment, care of equipment, maintaining supplies and records.
  • Will be working with comparative models.
