What We Manufacture and Sell

Axiota's non-antibiotic solutions prepare cattle for times of transition and stress and support producers' goals of optimal health, performance, and animal well-being.

MS Biotec and Axiota are the world's first and only commercial producers of Lactipro advance, a beef and dairy cattle probiotic based on a pure culture of the lactate utilizing bacteria: Megasphaera elsdenii. MS Biotec has developed a unique anaerobic fermentation and formulation expertise leading to the successful commercialization of this strict anaerobe.

We are expanding its team to accelerate the development and commercialization of its innovative product pipeline and allow the company to capitalize on significant market opportunities in the growing natural animal health products market.

Role Overview

Maintain a constant supply of media and solutions to MS Biotec Laboratories.

Prepare solutions and media as needed in Laboratories according to MS Biotec SOP’s.

Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and concise laboratory records for media prep documentation.

Waste removal (empty trash, autoclave/sterilize trash when needed, transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas).

Help maintain laboratories and work area stocked.

Help maintain/perform inventory, reception, placement of new inventory, and any other related tasks as needed.

Follow Good Laboratory Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Detail oriented, organized, precise and accurate, with the Ability to work autonomously

Strong multi-tasking skills and strict attention to direction given for task completion.

Reliable and dependable with strong interpersonal skills both inside and outside of the organization.

Logistics and Demographics

Our production facility is in Wamego, Kansas, near Manhattan, Kansas, home to Kansas State University. We now have over one hundred employees and have expansion plans for continued profitable double-digit growth year over year.

Pay: $10.52 - $17.00 per hour
