Title: Medicaid Financial Services Consultant

Location: Remote

Duration: 1 year with extensions

The state of Illinois is looking for a FS/FIN Consultant. This person should have Medicaid, MMIS, and Claims experience. They could very well have experience with the other sub-systems as well (see below).

We are looking for someone with extensive Medicaid experience. They do not need to have State Government experience. They could come from a (payor) healthcare/medical insurance company such as Aetna, United Healthcare, etc.

There are multiple MMIS Functional Components and one of those is the Financial Solution which is a solution that facilitates financial management (the billing, receiving and accounting) for estate recoveries, provider and enrollee recoveries and recoupments.

There are multiple MMIS modules/sub-systems:

BA - Benefits Administration

CE - Claims and Encounter

CM - Contracts Management

EE- Eligibility Enrollment

FS/FIN – Financials Services

GS - General services

MS - Member Services

PA - Prior Approval/Authorization

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Financial concepts: 8 years (Preferred)
