What do we do?

Our clinical multidisciplinary approach to care delivers the correct intervention to each and every patient; each and every time through various pain management procedures including injections, open surgical cases with general anesthesia, physical therapy, and psychological services. Our Providers focus on helping individuals improve functionality to restore a more meaningful lifestyle.

Behind the scenes are APC’s support departments which include areas like Operations Support, Pre-Service, Billing, Human Resources, Marketing, and Accounting. APC values individuals with a strong work-ethic, embracing why they want to serve in the healthcare industry while maintaining a family and life balance. APC is seeking an individual who is wanting to learn, develop, and grow in a role in their Billing Department located in their Support Office in Carmel, IN.

What will you do?

The billing department is responsible for answering inbound AR related phone calls from patients or satellite offices, communicating with insurance companies for statuses on outstanding claims, processing and following up on appeals, resolving correspondence issues, submitting electronic and paper claims, and auto/manual payments of insurance payments, updating patient insurance changes, resolving daily clearinghouse rejections, patient payments to include ACH and credit card payments, Medicare/Medicaid payments, and identifying billing issues.

What qualifications do you need?

  • 2 years of customer service experience and a willingness to learn!
  • **Prior experience in Billing/Accounts Receivable and/or the Medical field a plus
  • **Professional Coding Certification a plus
